Request Workshop/Training

Are you a social justice community or activist group, or student organization, or maybe a small collective, that wants to be trained in nonviolent tactics and strategies to aid in creating positive social change? Do you not have the money to travel or the time to take off of work? If so Education for Action is perfect for you! We are not trying to make a living off project, rather we see this as our activism and a way to make sure that their will be well strategic and successful resistance in the future. Unlike many organizations that ask for a sliding scale starting out at hundreds and going to thousands for activist and social justice nonviolent training, we simply ask that you find us a place to sleep a floor is fine, pay for food, gas, and whatever you can donate to aid in buying new equipment.

About EFA

Education for Action (EFA), a project of the Transformative Studies Institute (TSI), is a nonviolent training based organization made up of a collective of experienced trainers who have skills and are willing to share them with others. EFA is based on going to the people and adopting skills and trainings for your given cause to advance peace and social justice for all. Our trainings are open to all people and are funded by donation. Rather asking you to come to us in the woods or in our office, we come to you on your streets, community center, school, or local park, to prepare you, not in a foreign in environment, but in one that you are familiar with. We stress training in urban areas but of course are not restricted to them. Our trainings are void of any political message and we will never do training for a specific campaign or cause only.
